We once heard a residential construction engineer say, “Avoid letting the client see the inside of the house before all the dry wall is installed. No design looks ‘right’ before all of the structural pieces are in place.”This is important to remember when redesigning a kitchen or even just installing new cabinets – the initial planning documents and construction will never fully showcase the final results. That’s why it’s important to include both the designer and installer early in the process. It’s critical to keep practical, technical concerns in mind right from the start. The fact is, not all kitchen design firms also handle installation!
